Winter Wonderland 2024

Winter Wonderland 2024 is right around the corner. It is our largest annual event of the year, designed to bridge gaps and rebuild relationships between incarcerated mothers and their children. Our desire is to change and touch the hearts of all involved as we share the unconditional love of Christ during the Christmas season.

WHAT HAPPENS AT WINTER WONDERLAND?

Because our mission is to teach the love of Christ and to prepare them for a new beginning, we have made special efforts to set up Winter Wonderland as a real shopping experience to help the mothers prepare for transition post release.

Groups of volunteers from various organizations and church affiliations come together to create a life-changing experience. The event is held inside of the women's prison. The women are allocated "gift bucks" and taught how to budget and plan. 

On the last day, when approved by the facility, the mothers inside of the state prison get an opportunity to spend time with their children as they enjoy the wonderful gifts donated by kind and generous donors like you.

The children also enjoy crafts, face painting and refreshments to help create loving memories. Our desire is to heal some of the heartache of not having that parent with them.

• Electronics (All ages)

• Stuffed Animals

• Dolls

• Body lotions, body gels, and body sprays

• Books

• Puzzles

• Balls (footballs, basketballs, soccer)

• Board games

Volunteers are needed to help raise donations, prepare items for the event and to assist during the event. This event lasts 6 days.
